Packing and Loading Specifications
1. Bundling Requirements: Seamless steel pipes are typically bundled with steel straps or wire, with each bundle not exceeding 5,000 kg. Steel pipes with an outer diameter greater than 159 mm can be shipped loose. Precision steel pipes must be wrapped in moisture-proof paper and coated with anti-rust oil. The maximum weight per bundle is 2,000 kg.
2. Special Handling: Threaded steel pipes must be coated with anti-rust oil and fitted with thread protectors. Stainless steel pipes with a wall thickness ≤ 1.5 mm must be wrapped in multiple layers of burlap or plastic sheeting.
